Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements:
Continuous feedback is sought from the students by the faculty in different spheres of academic affairs. A group of ten students have one faculty as a mentor who constantly interacts with his/ her student group to evaluate their needs. Seminars, Conferences, Guest Lectures, Parent / Faculty / Students / Alumni meetings, and Management Meets are conducted regularly. Students and faculty are actively involved in the placement activities

Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance:

Open administration, transparency in all aspects involving students along with participative management is actively practiced.

The Osmania University also constantly monitors the activities of the College through inspections and interactive feedbacks from the students. Students also evaluate the faculty on a regular basis.

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance: Positive, Good governance.

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students :Each student has a faculty member as a mentor.

The management follows an open door policy at all levels that prevents snowballing of any grievance.

PROFILE OF THE DIRECTOR

Dr. Wg Cdr (Retd) M. Ghosh

Born on 06 December, 1948 Dr. M. Ghosh is a retired officer of the Indian Air Force. He was commissioned as a Pilot in the IAF in 1967. He has held various important Command and Staff appointments during his twenty-two years in the IAF. He took active part in the Air Operations of India Pakistan war of 1971. He has been commended twice by the Chief of Air Staff for outstanding performance and once by the Air Office Commanding in Chief.

He has been an instructor at the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington, where he has taught at the Post Graduate level. The college is affiliated to the University of Madras and gives M.Sc. degrees to middle level officers of the Defence Services from all over the world and also officers of the All India Allied ServicesA trained Psychologist, he was responsible for the induction of officers into the Defence Services for over seven years.

During this period he designed a large number of psychological tests for the personality appraisal testintechniques. He has a Ph.D. in Business Management from Osmania University on Personality Development.For the last fifteen years he has been practicing as a behavioural scientist who specializes in Personality Development. He has carried out Personality appraisals of over 9,000 individuals and development of personality of over 1,800 individuals

Since February 2000, he has been the Director of Nava Bharathi College of P.G. Studies, Secunderabad. The college is affiliated to Osmania University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The college conducts MBA and MCA courses.

XI. CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

For Centralized counseling for 75% of the seats the criteria is rank in I-CET i.e., Integrated
Common Entrance Test for both MBA and MCA which is conducted for all the
Universities of the State by the AP State Council for Higher Education. Admission done
through State Government. For 25% management quota seats criteria is rank in I-CET or
50% marks in graduation. – Batch likely to commence in August.

Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any :Pass in I-CET for counseling seats. For Management quota passed I-CET / 50% marks in Graduation
